Geron Way

Planning permission was obtained for a development that formed part of the regeneration of Cricklewood as part of the larger Brent Cross Masterplan in the London Borough of Barnet.

The site falls within the Cricklewood, Brent Cross and West Hendon Regeneration Area. The scheme provides a total of 230 apartments split into three blocks designed to provide a buffer between the railway and the interior of the development.

One of the blocks is designed to follow the rear boundary of the site and is consequently designed principally with small bedroom windows and service/access cores facing this rear elevation. The other two blocks create an active street frontage to Edgeware Road and also provide enclosed areas of good quality amenity, sheltered from both Edgware Road and the railway. This is achieved by the creation of two U-shaped blocks fronting Edgeware Road with the internal arms forming the sides of the amenity areas
