Cricklewood Broadway

A modern mixed use development located along the Cricklewood Broadway within the London Borough of Barnet is replacing the former Galtymore Irish Dance Hall.

The site is a privately family owned plot that was formerly the home of the popular and renowned Galtymore Irish Dance Hall & Snooker Club. Its demise has permitted an opportunity for redevelopment whilst the family are to retain its ownership.

Consent has been granted for the construction of a large mixed use development along Cricklewood Broadway and Depot Approach to comprise of a large ASDA supermarket over a basement car park serving the store. Above the store are 97 PRS dwellings, arranged over four and five storeys. These will be constructed and arranged around a modern landscaped courtyard over the second floor podium. Residential access to the podium level garden is provided via two separate cores at opposite ends of the site, one on Cricklewood Broadway and one on Depot Approach. Once up at the garden level residents are able to walk to their flat entrances via independent secure stair and lift cores. The building is designed in a modern traditional style with a mixture of facing brick and metal cladding complemented with timber/aluminium composite windows and winter gardens.
