Stanford Eatwell was founded as an Architectural practice in 1970 and has been responsible for a variety of building types including offices, industrial and storage buildings, schools, colleges, health buildings, retail, hotels and
Leisure facilities. The practice is however best known for its work in the residential sector working with major housebuilders, Housing Associations and Local Authorities, and has pioneered new types of Urban Regeneration involving complex designs and mixed uses.
The design abilities of the practice have been recognised by awards for Good Design in Housing, conferred jointly by the RIBA and the Department of the Environment. Awards have also been received from the Civic Trust and in connection with special award programmes organised by the RIBA for Urban renewal. The practice formed partnerships with the private and public sectors and won major competitions for Urban Regeneration Schemes in London and the South East.

Roger Hind, Martin Bradley & Sarah Kitchener founded Stanford Eatwell Technical Ltd as an Architectural Technologists practice in November 2014. Working in tandem with Stanford Eatwell Architecture we have been responsible for delivering a variety of building types including housing, offices, retail units, hotels and leisure facilities.
We are a small experienced team that are primarily focused on preparing the detailed designs for housing and mixed use schemes for Developers for the private sale and Housing Association markets. We predominantly work on schemes in and around the London area, more recently in Teddington, Isleworth, Orpington, Tadworth & Cricklewood.

Barry J Stanford
Director, Stanford Eatwell Architecture
Barry is a founding member of Stanford Eatwell Architecture and an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He has over 50 years experience working on Public and Private Sector Housing, Schools, Industrial Buildings, Office developments and Refurbishment schemes.
Roger Hind
Partner, Stanford Eatwell Technical
Roger obtained a BTEC Diploma in Building Construction and studied Architecture at the University of Greenwich. Roger worked for PHD Architecture and Edmund Nuttall JV prior to joining Stanford Eatwell & Associates in 1999. Roger is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
Since joining the practice Roger has worked on a broad range of projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments and has gone on to lead the delivery of the detailed design side of the practice working with a variety of Clients. In 2014 Roger formed Stanford Eatwell Technical with Martin and Sarah to ensure the continued development of Stanford Eatwell.
Martin Bradley
Partner, Stanford Eatwell Technical
Martin gained a BA (Hons) Degree in 3D Design at Buckinghamshire College of H.E. specialising in Ceramics & Glass before going on to study Architecture at the University of North London in Islington receiving several commendations for his studies.
Martin worked for Caruso St John Architects and Allies & Morrison prior to joining Stanford Eatwell & Associates in 2007. Martin has a particular interest in construction, making sure that the practical issues of realising projects are considered from the early stages of the detailed design process ensuring that core design criteria are maintained through the construction stages of the project. Since joining the practice Martin has helped to deliver several major residential and mixed use schemes in and around the London area.
Sarah Kitchener
Partner, Stanford Eatwell Technical
Sarah joined Stanford Eatwell & Associates in 2001 going on to work as Barry Stanfords Personal Assistant. Sarah became a Partner in Stanford Eatwell Technical when it was formed in 2014 and is in charge of the daily management of the office and administration of the accounts. Sarah is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Lee Spry – Architectural Technologist
Lee trained at Anglia Ruskin University from 2008 to 2011 gaining a BSc (Hons) Degree in Architectural Technology prior to joining Stanford Eatwell Architecture in 2012. Lee has worked closely with Barry Stanford preparing Planning Submissions for a variety of mixed use developments. Lee joined Stanford Eatwell Technical in 2017
Dan Moon – Architectural Technologist
Dan trained at Anglia Ruskin University from 2008 to 2012 gaining a BSc (Hons) Degree in Architectural Technology. Dan worked for Retail Design Solutions and @ Architect ltd gaining valuable experience working on various retail and commercial schemes prior to joining Stanford Eatwell Architecture in 2018.
Aidan McMahon – Architectural Technologist
Aidan trained at the University of the West of England (UWE) from 2013 to 2017 gaining a BSc (Hons) Degree in Architectural Technology & Design. Aidan joined Stanford Eatwell Technical straight from college in 2017 and has since assisted in delivering the technical details for various housing and mixed use developments. Aidan is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT).
